Overview.
MedGlobal is working across Syria to restore healthcare services, rebuild hospitals, and deliver urgent medical care to those who need it most.
Our response spans Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, and beyond. We support hospitals with essential medicines, medical equipment, dialysis kits, and fuel to keep health facilities operational. Mobile medical teams reach conflict-affected and remote areas with emergency care, while critical equipment and infrastructure are maintained to ensure continuity of services.
How is MedGlobal Helping Syria?
Alongside emergency care, we provide maternal, pediatric, oncology, dialysis, cardiac, and chronic disease care to vulnerable communities. We focus on supporting women and children through targeted nutrition programs, integrating community-based malnutrition screening, and expanding services in underserved and coastal areas.
MedGlobal also invests in training and capacity building—equipping local healthcare workers through partnerships like the Syrian Board of Medical Specialties and supporting residency programs in trauma, ICU, and primary care.
We’re rebuilding damaged health facilities, scaling up essential services, and supporting long-term healthcare recovery aligned with Syria’s national health strategy. Our programs focus on strengthening workforce retention, infrastructure, and ensuring sustainable, community-owned healthcare systems.

Homs Healthcare Recovery – A MedGlobal Initiative
Launched in January 2025, the Homs Healthcare Recovery Initiative is the flagship program of MedGlobal’s Syria Healthcare Recovery. Built on extensive needs assessments and unprecedented collaboration between local and international partners, it introduces a groundbreaking localization model for post-conflict health system recovery in Homs.
Structured through dedicated committees and a local advisory board, the alliance drives lifesaving projects, including support for dialysis patients, improved access to chronic disease medications, a specialized clinic for survivors of torture and much more.
