Sabaa – A Just Queen, a child, and you.

Meet Sabaa. She is Yemeni child with severe malnutrition. Our team took care of her in the city of Aljawf, not far from the frontlines. Sabaa is also the name of the old Yemeni civilization mentioned in the Holy Quran and Bible. They built a civilization that was ruled by a just Queen. The little girl was crying with soft voice in the lap of her desperate mother, a displaced victim of war, both bearing the signs of malnutrition and psychological trauma. Her family has lost everything. You don’t have to be a doctor to diagnose that. When Dr. John Kahler held her in his hands, she stopped crying. Maybe she felt that finally someone has paid attention to her plight and the plight of the Yemeni people. Wouldn’t you be that someone?
