Sudan Emergency

Sudan Is on the Brink

Sudan is now facing the world’s largest internal displacement crisis, with more than 10 million people forced from their homes by conflict, famine, and flooding. The country’s health system has collapsed—70% of hospitals are out of service, and critical supplies are running out.

Cholera, malaria, dengue, measles, and severe malnutrition are spreading rapidly. Children under five and pregnant women are the most at risk. This is not one crisis—it’s five at once. But it’s not too late to act.

MedGlobal Is on the Ground

MedGlobal is working across Sudan’s Northern State and surrounding areas, delivering lifesaving healthcare and clean water to families who have lost everything.

Through clinics and mobile health units, we’re treating illness, providing maternal and newborn care, and supporting malnourished children. We’re restoring damaged health facilities, supplying essential medicines, and keeping clinics running with fuel.

To fight waterborne disease, we’re implementing water trucking, repairing latrines, building pipelines, and distributing 5,000-liter water tanks. Our teams are also training Sudanese health workers in malnutrition treatment, infection prevention, and emergency care—ensuring lasting impact.

In 2024 alone, we supported 50 health facilities, deployed two mobile teams, and reached over 1.6 million people with vital health and nutrition services.
