MedGlobal in Yemen
After years of conflict, Yemen remains one of the world’s most urgent humanitarian crises. More than 17 million people are now facing severe food insecurity, ongoing displacement, and the collapse of basic services.
MedGlobal has been saving lives in Yemen since 2017. As needs continue to grow, we deliver lifesaving healthcare to the most vulnerable communities across the country.

Responding To a Critical Health Crisis
Overview.
MedGlobal is responding to Yemen’s most critical health crises—focusing on maternal care, malnutrition treatment, and emergency medical services to save lives and support long-term recovery. We operate maternity centers that provide safe deliveries and emergency obstetric care in areas where healthcare is hardest to reach. Alongside this, our teams provide primary care, reproductive health services, nutrition support, and immunization programs for children and families.
How is MedGlobal Helping Yemen?
To combat the growing malnutrition crisis, we distribute therapeutic food to pregnant and breastfeeding women and provide treatment for children suffering from severe acute malnutrition.
MedGlobal is also pioneering Female-Friendly Clinics—solar-powered, home-based clinics led by trained midwives. These clinics bring pregnancy care, family planning, and safe deliveries directly to women in remote communities, reducing barriers to care and building local health capacity.
We strengthen Yemen’s healthcare system for the future by training healthcare workers in essential maternal, newborn, and emergency care, ensuring communities have long-term access to lifesaving services.
As Yemen’s crisis continues, MedGlobal remains committed to delivering care, supporting health workers, and protecting vulnerable families.
