MedGlobal partners with Barzani Charity Foundation

Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) representatives visited theOBAT+MedGlobal clinic in Kutupalong, Camp 4 in Bangladesh. A new partnership was built to support MedGlobal activities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh after the visit. BCF supports MedGlobal activities through local medical health practitioners including physicians, medical assistants, and nurses. With the support of BCF, MedGlobal has been able to reach 3,951 beneficiaries since July 2019. MedGlobal believes in sustainable health care systems and therefore encourages its members to actively participate in capacity building and training programs.
In September 2019, MedGlobal+OBAT clinic was also visited by Dr. Jacques Beres, co-founder of MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières, Doctors Without Borders) and MdM. He toured the camp with the MedGlobal+OBAT team.

Rezaul Karim administers medication to a baby with a high fever as part of medical triage. The MedGlobal clinic sees 10-12 cases of wounded care every week resulting from trauma. Momta Halder attended a training on adoslescent friendly health services. Adoslescents have special health care needs which are often overlooked in emergency and crisis settings.
